Join Us at Badger State Brewing 2/23 to Celebrate Mobile Bike Repair and Give Big Green Bay!
Give BIG Green Bay is almost here, and we’ve received a bike for our Mobile Bike Repair program! Thanks to the Wisconsin Bike Fed, we now have a Larry vs Harry Bullitt Cargo Bike to load up with tools, ride to Green Bay parks, and provide bike repair services this summer.
In celebration of this gift and Give BIG Green Bay, we’re going to head down to Badger State Brewing this Wednesday, February 23. Join us there to see the bike person, play some games, have a beverage, and talk bikes. We’ll be in the taproom starting at 3 pm. Come socialize with us and check out the Badger State Public Market while you’re there! RSVP on Facebook.
What is Mobile Bike Repair?
Mobile Bike Repair is Green Bay Bicycle Collective’s newest initiative in bicycle advocacy, youth development, and accessibility. We’ll be launching Mobile Bike Repair in Green Bay parks this summer, visiting a new park every week to offer free bike repair services to area youth and cyclists. This program will help kids, teens, and adults maintain access to operational bikes. It will also teach area youth about bicycle maintenance and help us identify participants for the Earn-a-Bike program.

Show Your Support During Give BIG Green Bay!
This year is our first year participating in Give BIG Green Bay, a 24-hour giving event that brings awareness to local nonprofits. By participating in this event, we aim to raise funds for a new community bike shop, our Mobile Bike Repair program, and our Earn-a-Bike program. If you want to further support the Mobile Bike Repair and other programs, don’t forget to visit GBBC’s Give BIG Green Bay profile to donate on 2/23 or 2/24. Thanks for helping us make cycling more accessible in Green Bay!
